EMDR Therapy for Leaders Ready to Put Down What They've Been Carrying
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy approach used to process trauma and the beliefs it leaves behind — the ones that keep telling you that you have to earn your place, keep proving yourself, or keep it together no matter what. I've been EMDR trained since June 2022, and I use it with clients working through racial trauma, burnout, and the specific weight of leading while BIPOC, queer, or both.

How I Use It
-
To process specific memories or experiences that still carry charge — a bad performance review, a moment of being tokenized, a pattern that keeps repeating
-
To work through beliefs like “I have to do it all myself” or “I'm not allowed to rest” at the root, not just the surface
-
To remember and call upon internal and external resources that made you the amazing leader you are in the first place
-
Alongside talk therapy and, for clients who are curious, tarot-informed reflection — EMDR isn't the whole session every week, it's a tool we bring in when it fits
Is EMDR Right for You?
EMDR tends to be a good fit if you notice the same self-limiting story showing up across different situations — at work, in relationships, in how you talk to yourself — and talk therapy alone hasn't fully loosened its grip. We'll always go at a pace that feels safe, and you're always in control of what we process and when.
