Individual Therapy for the Ones Carrying More Than Anyone Sees

Individual therapy at Banshee Therapy Services is for women, femmes, and queer people of color in leadership roles — in your organization, your community, or your family — who've been praised for holding it all together and are exhausted from doing exactly that. You don't have to keep proving you belong in the room to get support in it.

My Approach

You've received your degrees, training, credentials, and professional accolades, and it still doesn't feel like enough as you keep ascending into leadership faster than you can breathe. I'm a therapist who can help you pause and catch your breath as you navigate leadership in your world and your work — while still showing up as your full, authentic self.

I draw on an eclectic set of modalities built over my years as a practicing therapist. I'm CBT and DBT-informed, and EMDR trained since June 2022 — learn more about how I use each on their own pages: EMDR Therapy, CBT-Informed Therapy, and DBT-Informed Therapy. Continuing to grow my competency in additional modalities is part of my values as a practitioner.

Together, we build a warm, nurturing space where you can unmask, drop the code-switching, and just be. The world is a lot right now — you don't have to carry it alone.

Who I Help

  • Women of color, femmes of color, and queer folks of color, roughly ages 18–40+, in leadership roles within their communities, nonprofit organizations, or other helping professions

  • Anyone who feels like the minority in a sea of cis, het, white colleagues, and who faces marginalization tied to skin color, cultural background, or upbringing in other parts of life

Tarot Curious?

Tarot cards are one optional tool in my therapy practice. If you struggle to put feelings into words, the cards' imagery can help name what's underneath. They're also a useful icebreaker for clients unsure what to bring to session, and a grounding, self-care practice at the close of a session. I keep a range of decks, including several BIPOC and queer-themed decks, so you can choose one you see yourself in.
