**NOW ACCEPTING NEW WASHINGTON AND OREGON SUPERVISEES**

Licensed Clinical Supervision

I am an approved supervisor in Washington and Oregon states, and offer virtual 1:1 supervision only. I can supervise Licensed Social Work Associates (LICSW-A), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associates (LMHC-A) who are trying to meet their clinical supervision requirements to become fully licensed Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs). I’m not a traditional licensed supervisor. Yes there are ethical mandates and expectations I have to abide by as an LICSW supervisor AND I see the supervisory as more of a collaborative partnership with associates so they can build a practice that reflects who they are at their core.

Supervision Pricing

My price is $150/hour for individual supervision. I'm open to negotiate sliding scale for newly graduated clinicians at $75/hour. If you identify as BIPOC, I'm happy to negotiate a sliding scale price depending on availability. Inquire about this when you book a free 15-minute consult with me to discuss your supervision needs and goals!

Supervision Approach

My approach as a licensed supervisor can be described by the following tarot cards from the Chromatic Fates Tarot deck: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1664486563/chromatic-fates-tarot

The Emperor: Grounded

My passion for social justice and anti-oppressive mental health practices is also an important aspect of the supervisory relationship. As therapists, your identity as a human as well as the positionalities you hold are also important in the superivsory relationship, as that translates to how you show up for your clients. I do not shy away from this with my clients, nor will I shy away from exploring how this impacts how you engage with clients. The Emperor has a strong anchor in social justice. While our profession operates under oppressive structures, it is my responsibility as a supervisor to engage with supervisees on building their social justice and anti-oppressive analysis on how they engage with clients in therapy.

The 2 of Cups: Relational

My approach to supervision centers the supervisory relationship and the supervisee’s needs first and foremost; that can be client consultation, sharing resources to build private practice and business infrastructure, processing ethical dilemmas, and building a reflective practice to address transference and countertransference. I see the supervisory relationship as dynamic rather than a power-over approach just because I’m fully licensed. It is important that the supervisory relationship is built on foundations of shared power and knowledge, and we approach discomfort and any conflict that may arise from a place of compassion and curiosity as we build this relationship together. Like the Two of Cups, building a supervisory relationship requires equitable contributions and mutual support from all parties involved.

The King of Coins: Co-Leadership

Similar to therapy with clients, building relationships requires work. Building a practice you’re proud of doesn’t happen overnight. It is one of my absolute joys as a supervisor to be witness to supervisees’ processes as they shape their interventions with clients, tap into their internal and graduate knowledge, and find ways to integrate those sources of knowledge to create an abundant practice and therapy skillset in the community. Even a King has a court to consult with, and I’m happy to be a member of any supervisee’s court as a licensed supervisor.
